Through innovative, vintage washes and sexy yet comfortable fits, Chip and Pepper have brought to life old American jeans with a modern twist. What sets Chip and Pepper apart from the rest of the market is the blood, sweat and quality workmanship that has gone into every individual pair. As twenty-somethings, identical twins Chip and Pepper Foster created a Canadian sportswear label that grew into a multi-million dollar company. They entered the business by selling hand dyed t-shirts and shorts out of the back of their jeep. Many people remember the wacky twins from Canada who created an active sportswear collection in the 80's. The collection received such a great response that it grew to be a multi-million dollar company in a few short years. This was just the beginning of the crazy adventures of Chip and Pepper. In 2003, they began their fashion renaissance in America by launching a high-end denim line that has become a cult favorite among celebrities and hipsters. Its rapid popularity, spawned by a celebrity cult following, has expanded to include maternity, kids, knitwear, hats, leather goods, and sportswear. The twins serve as the creative and business minds behind the company and the face of the brand itself. The brand also includes Chip & Pepper University, a knit line incorporating vintage and original logos from more than 75 universities around the nation. Since its launch, the jeans have become a national craze, seen on dozens of Hollywood celebrities, and in television shows. Chip and Pepper is reminiscent of the denim golden days, when life was less complicated and quality was the bottom-line. It is young and free: young at heart and free of inhibitions. The lifestyle of the classic vintage denim is recreated with the best washes and standards, bringing to life old American jeans with a modern twist. With every fit, you're in for a wild ride! Everything from the mills to the vendors, to our employees to our rivets is top of the line.
